The PADI Open Water and Open Water Referral programs are
identical but for one option, with Open Water Referral
you can do all your pool and classroom training with us
in the UK and then take a Referral Card on a holiday abroad
where all you only have to pass the Open Water diving
skills to qualify. In fact a great option is to do the
referral with us, we run plenty of holidays abroad, known
instructors, maybe Planet Scuba students you met in training...
surely be a winner !
Why Don't I just Learn Abroad?
OK so there you are on holiday, with lots of wrecks, fish life, sunbathing and kicking back to do. Where are you? in the pool for 5 + hours, in a hot old classroom, reading your manual when you do hit the beach. Planet Scuba on a referral...surely a winner!
What is the Format?
A minimum of 5 x 1 hour pool training session (all equipment provided
Knowledge development via reading course manual (and classroom sessions if you prefer)
4 short quizzes & an exam. (don't freak, they are multiple choice and there is no rocket science)
Take you referral card, travel and finish your training abroad
What Will it Cost?
The full PADI Open Water Referral program costs £ 250 and that includes your Crew Pack, Manual, Video Loan, Pool, Classroom and exams.
