Planet Scuba realise the importance of dive insurance and the fact that the cover supplied for our sport of scuba diving can be woefully inadequate. We only had one choice to make when it came to partnering with a good supplier in this field... Divemaster Insurance.

What Should I Insure?

• Equipment The value of dive kit suprises most people when they sit down and tot it all up, most people have also worked hard to buy their equipment, not something you would wish to do again through loss, damage or theft. Cover for such loss works out less than a weeks full kit hire, Planet Scuba offer kit rentals but we would prefer you protect your investment and keep on diving, after all we're divers too! Cover with Divemaster Insurance is easy to activate and is a 'new for old' policy.
• Yourself Many companies offer personal cover for diving but most have a max depth limit of 30M in the small print. Assessors will wriggle out of any claim if they can and depth guages, dive computers and dive logs will be rigorously checked for any weakness. A 30.1 M dive and you may kiss goodbye any claim arising from the dive activity. Check the Divemaster specs for their cover, you will find it very accomodating, what's more they specilaise in dive insurance, they don't tack it on to existing portfolios like many operators.
• Professionals PADI Instructors, PADI Divemasters and teaching staff from all training agencies are required to have dive insurance, it is within the rules of these agencies. Not only does this cover themselves as divers but covers themselves in respect to any divers they may be teaching or guiding. Divemaster insurance have some great policies for the professional with some excellent levels of third party cover.

How Do I Insure ?

You can take out Divemaster Insurance in one of three ways;

• In store at Planet Scuba, we have the necessary Divemaster Insurance forms and can advise you on how to complete the form and what to include in terms of dive equipment and personnal requirements
• By post, simply phone us and we will post you a form with stamped addressed envelope and you're nearly there :-)
• On-line via the Divemaster Insurance website.
